Hitomi Sasaki is a dancer, singer and actor originally from Tokyo, Japan. She began dancing ballet at 3 years old at the Senga Ballet Studio with Noriko Senga. From age 8 to 15, she trained at the Kaneda Kazuko Ballet Studio with Kazuko Kaneda.
During her years in junior high and high school, she became a member of Tamagawa Academy's English Drama Club. She performed Broadway style musicals such as Cats, Big, Footloose, and Mamma Mia. Her six year association with her school's drama club fostered her love for the performing arts even more and made her want to pursue musical theatre professionally. At age 15, she began her theatre dance training at Hiromi Dance Company.
In 2007, Hitomi moved to the United States to study and graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Arts with Performance Concentration, SUNY at New Paltz in upstate New York. After graduation, she moved to New York City, got her Artists' Visa, and has performed in various performance venues in the city and regionally.
In 2016, She moved back to Tokyo Japan to countinue and challenge her theatre career.
When not performing, she enjoys cooking, baking, and going to hot yoga. She loves playing with animals especially with doggys.
